PARTICIPANT RELEASE & ASSUMPTION OF RISK — 2026 COVERT CUP
The Covert Cup is a privately organized golf tournament. It is unofficial, unsanctioned, and conducted entirely at your own risk. By registering, you acknowledge the following:
Golf is a game played outdoors with hard projectiles, uneven terrain, weather that does not check the forecast, and other participants whose judgment varies. You are an adult. You understand what you are signing up for.
By completing registration, you and your partner agree that:
You are voluntarily participating in the 2026 Covert Cup Invitational, including any practice rounds, on-course competition, and associated activities at Squaw Valley Golf Course, Glen Rose, Texas on October 2–4, 2026.
You assume all risks associated with participation — including but not limited to errant golf balls, cart incidents, weather, physical exertion, the actions of other participants, and anything else that could reasonably happen at a golf tournament. This includes acts of God, which the committee has no jurisdiction over.
You release the Covert Cup organizing committee, Squaw Valley Golf Course, and all associated parties from any liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from your participation, including claims based on negligence. This release is binding on you, your partner, and your respective heirs and representatives.
You are 18 or older. You have shared these terms with your partner. You are both in.
The committee thanks you for your understanding and looks forward to taking your money on the closest-to-pin contests.
